Selling on Maaru is free and stays free. Plans exist for people who sell often enough that the extras pay for themselves.
Working out what you need
Step 1: Start free. Five active ads, five photos each, and chat with buyers — that is enough for almost everyone selling a few things.
Step 2: Look at the plans only when you keep hitting a limit: you want more than five ads live at once, or more photos, or you want your ads to appear higher.
Step 3: If you sell as a business, the paid plans add the things a business needs — a shop page with your name and logo, a verified badge, and a view of how many people saw and contacted you.
Step 4: Nothing charges you today. Plans start when the marketplace reaches 5,000 active listings, and they begin by talking to our team, not by entering a card.
What this cannot do
- Payments are not switched on yet. The plan pages show what is coming and what it will cost; nothing can be bought right now.
- Plans do not change how buyers find you inside search results. They add ad slots, photos, a shop page and reporting.
Watch out for
- Do not buy reach before you have a good ad. Better photos and a clearer title do more for a weak listing than any paid placement.
- The yearly price is ten months for twelve. Only worth it once you are sure you will keep selling all year.
